Not Enough Time To Read Marketing Blogs? Here’s 5 Podcasts to Check Out Now

marketing podcasts for beginners

Even though I’m a writer, I love listening to podcasts to squeeze a little more learning into my day.

Think about it — audio is the perfect format for accessing the intelligence and advice you need, when you need it. I love a good read, but reading takes time, and sometimes time just isn’t on our side.

The benefit of listening to podcasts are plentiful: you can redeem time back from menial activities like commuting, you can stir creative juices by listening while working, exercising or cooking dinner and you can feel connected with influencers and finally put a voice to the brand.
If being a better marketer for your business has been on your to-do list for awhile (because you just don’t have time to learn the skills), then check out these marketing podcasts below to give your digital marketing chops a boost.

Why it’s good for beginners:

A quick look at the titles, and you’ll notice his mission is to provide only practical, actionable business blogging tips — there’s definitely no shortage of ‘how-to’ content.

Because of his blogging skills, Leslie landed his dream job way back when (university professor) but he’s since quit his job to become a blogger full-time. One great thing about his podcast is that on top of all the guidance and interviews with industry leaders, he tests out his own ideas and shares the results directly with listeners.

I love the ‘this old marketing’ segment of the podcast as they pull a best-in-class example from the archives and analyze for the listeners.

Not only does the pair cover solid marketing tips, but they discuss the latest marketing headlines, so you’ll always be on top of what’s happening in the industry.

    Hey Jennee,

Side Hustle Nation is great – so many weird hustles on there I didn’t know existed. I’ll have to check out your other recommendations. To be honest, I’m getting burned out reading marketing blogs. Podcast and audiobooks are both great ways to consume content.
